In a group routine, expressiveness depends largely on flow—movements should logically follow one another, without pauses or hesitations. Alina Kabaeva and Academy coach Anna Ustsova worked specifically on the flow of the hoops and clubs routine with the senior group gymnasts during a control training session. And you saw the results for yourself on the floor!

Indeed, our girls are Russian champions in the all-around and silver medalists in the hoop and clubs finals!

Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva supported group exercise gymnasts of the Academy on the eve of their performance at the Russian Championships. She helped the gymnasts to get in the right frame of mind for their work and advised them to focus solely on the exercise, not worrying about the results.

In January 2026, when our senior group exercises team was just forming, Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva explained to the gymnasts what their goal should be. The results were visible within a month: at the Russian Championships, Sofia Sokolovskaya, Nelly Reutskaya, Nicole Andronchik, Alina Proshchalykina, and Zlata Remchukova won the all-around title and silver in the three-hoops-and-clubs routine!

The girls took to the floor after performing with three hoops and two pairs of clubs. Together with coach Anna Ustsova and choreographer Elena Egorova, they were practicing a routine with five balls.
