Lala became involved in rhythmic gymnastics when she was two and half years old. From birth, she was very flexible and energetic, it was necessary to direct this energy in a peaceful direction.
Lala comes from an athletic family. Her twin sister Diana also started going to gymnastics. Her mom, Irina Kramarenko, was involved in biathlon. Lala's father is Dmitry Kramarenko, professional football player, goalkeeper. He taught Lala the favorite trick of Brazilian football players - tossing the ball with the feet over the head and catching it with one hand. Lala even included this element in her program and she is the only one who performs this technique.
At the age of 16, at the Russian Championship, with a ribbon exercise, Lala beat the Averin sisters themselves. And she also has her own element - a 180-degree turn with a bent leg, which is something that she came up with together with Irina Viner and Laysan Savitskaya. The turns are considered Lala Kramarenko’s signature elements. She turns them very steadily, with a record number of revolutions.
