A recovery training camp for the national team gymnasts is currently underway in Turkey

Chief Judge of the Russian Peoples' Spartakiad in Yekaterinburg, Evgeniya Gertsikova, summed up the tournament results and appreciated the work of the judiciary:&nbsp;<blockquote>"Overall, regarding the officiating at this competition, I believe the judges handled their duties professionally. And I think we succeeded in identifying the best competitors. It is a major competition, so I imagine all the gymnasts prepared very seriously. What made the event particularly memorable was the suspense surrounding the podium, especially in the group exercises, where the outcome remained uncertain right up to the very end."</blockquote>She also noted the high level of competition in the individual program and the impressive performances of the gymnasts:&nbsp;<blockquote>"All the girls put up a strong fight to earn high scores. The routines were quite interesting; some handled them well, while others struggled a bit. But overall, I think the audience will remember the impressive performances of our gymnasts."</blockquote>

Competitions

From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, all children and parents can join the festive program celebrating the start of the new school year.&nbsp;Participants will enjoy an entertaining program with a host, master classes, a face painting corner, and a beauty bar, as well as dance flash mobs and music quizzes.

Alexandra Borisova from Moscow will compete in the all-around final at the Russian Peoples’ Spartakiad in Yekaterinburg.She placed 6th in the qualifications. The Top-15 gymnasts advance to the final.Alexandra Borisova's coaches are Alina and Irina Gusarova, and her choreographer is Ekaterina Belova. Sasha lives and trains at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

Young athletes from the Martial Arts Academy and Multidisciplinary Gymnasium of the Sirius Federal Territory held a joint training session; they practiced standing and ground techniques and tested their skills in bouts.The athletes' technique and the course of the fights were supervised by Evgeni Ivanov, a coach at the Martial Arts Academy, and Andrey Sinkov, a coach and instructor at the Multidisciplinary Gymnasium of the Sirius Federal Territory.

Only now are we beginning to understand how wonderful and how great it was. And how our dear Sirius greeted us. It's simply amazing! It's so nice, such attention, such care. Thank you so much! In my opinion, Russia is the best».</blockquote>

Irina Gusarova—the coach of St. Petersburg-based World Championship medalist Maria Borisova—and World Champion and Russian national group team member Daria Melnik have returned to Sochi.

They were welcomed alongside the gymnasts by Ekaterina Dyukova, Director of the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy, and representatives of the Sirius Federal Territory administration.
