Academy athlete Yana Zaikina from Volgograd won silver in the final with a hoop in the juniors program at the first stage of the Cup of the Strongest. The gymnast's coaches from Volgograd are Evgenia Eliseeva and Olga Minigalina.

The winner is Ksenia Savinova from Gatchina, and Vera Konopatskaya from Belarus won the bronze.

Also, Yana Zaikina is the third in total points in the final with the ball, but she was left without a medal, since only two gymnasts from a country can be on the podium.
