Academy students won six medals at the Northwestern Federal District Championship
Academy student Ksenia Savinova from Gatchina won the all-around at the Northwestern Federal District Championship under the Candidate Master of Sports program. Elvira Belyaeva, another one of our gymnasts, had the fourth-place result.
Furthermore, Ksenia won gold in the exercise without object and with the rope, while Elvira became third in the exercise without object.
Our students also helped the team of the Leningrad Region to win the team standings.
Athletes thus qualified for the Russian Championship that would be held in February in Moscow.
