Gymnasts' coach from Perm Region talks about preparations for the festival of showcase performances

Gymnasts from the Perm Region performed at the festival in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The "Because we are pilots" performance was choreographed by coach Elena Sibiryakova, who shared details of the training process:

"Our performance is dedicated to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, to the pilots, to all the military personnel who participated in the Second World War. Of course, in their dreams, in the clouds, they fly, imagine themselves with their loved ones, but duty calls and they need to defend their Motherland. Our set was prepared by absolutely all parents, coaches. We ordered airplanes, made lanterns around ourselves, glued them. We thought out our costumes carefully, selected the pants, sweaters, gloves, so that it all looked well together so that the image was fully conveyed in the performance".
