Academy coach Alla Mishenina talks about Eva Chugunova is getting ready for the Russian Championship
The new Academy coach Alla Mishenina, spoke about the preparation process of our student Eva Chugunova from Ulyanovsk in order to compete at the Russian Championship.
“ Eva and I are trying to improve the amplitude during the time that’s left ahead of the start of the Russian Championship. We are working on stretching, flexibility, so that our elements look more complete, beautiful, have more amplitude, and on the stability of object work. I see that she is opening up and has potential, and I like it,” the coach said.
The coach also explained how the Russian rules are different.
“ They differ in that they have a larger set of elements and place a bigger workload on the athletes. At the same time, you need to complete a larger number with the object and the elements, in a minute and a half,” Alla said.
The Russian Championship will be held February 13-22 in Moscow.
