Russian gymnasts will take part in the 2026 World Championships.The competition begins on August 12th in Frankfurt, Germany. Mariia Borisova, Sofia Ilteriakova, Arina Kovshova, and the Russian National team (Arina Lavrenova, Alisa Eremeeva, Anna Nikolaeva, Sofia Solonskaya, Agata Barekzai, and Daria Melnik) will compete in group exercises at the main start of the season.Russian gymnasts haven't competed at the tournament since 2021.

She participated in all our five international tournaments.The Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy invited the athlete and coach Elisa Meza to a training camp in St. Petersburg, covering all accommodation and meal expenses.

Before departing for the World Championships, our gymnasts and coaches visited a special place possessed of unique power.It is one of the most revered holy sites in St. Petersburg — the Chapel of Blessed Xenia of St. Petersburg at the Smolenskoye Cemetery.Archpriest Evgeni Shogenov, the rector of the parish of the churches at the Smolenskoye Cemetery, had a prayer service at the shrine holding the saint's holy relics.
