Volgograd coach Viktoria Borodina shared her impressions of working with the Academy's senior group team:<blockquote>"This is my first time here. Thank you so much to Alina Maratovna for inviting me. It's a great honor for me to be here, to work in such wonderful conditions, with such wonderful children and talented people like Irina Borisovna Zenovka. We were able to work together on the same court, which was undoubtedly a very valuable experience for me. We worked with senior and junior girls in group exercises. Our main goal was to work on the artistic components. We added teamwork for the girls, worked on musical effects, worked on dynamic body movements, and learned new and interesting lifts."</blockquote>The specialist also noted the cohesion of the team:<blockquote>"It's obvious right away that they are a team. They work as a single unit on the floor. They trust and care for each other so much, which is crucial in a group routine. The girls tackled those difficult lifts without any fear, knowing their partner would always support them, wouldn't let them down, and that everything would be perfect. So, the girls did a fantastic job, they demonstrated exceptional professionalism. It was a pleasure working with them. The girls have a major tournament coming up, so I certainly wish them and the entire coaching staff good luck at this competition, and that everything that was planned comes true!"</blockquote>In addition, Viktoria said that her students work at the Academy:<blockquote>"I've known about the Academy for a long time. My students work here; I once coached them: Elizaveta Markovna Chernova and Darya Olegovna Pirogova. Now we're all here together. The student has surpassed the teacher, as they say. It's truly gratifying and rewarding that our Volgograd girls have achieved this level of success and are working in such a wonderful place."</blockquote>

&nbsp;Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva celebrates her birthday on May 12.Alina Kabaeva is a 2004 Athens Olympic champion and a bronze medalist at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, and an Honored Master of Sports. She is a two-time all-around world champion, a five-time all-around European champion, and a six-time all-around Russian champion.In 2018, Alina Kabaeva defended her PhD dissertation at the Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sports, and Health. Her research formed the basis for the training program for preschoolers in the Academy's free early development groups.Today, Alina Maratovna is actively involved in the development of rhythmic gymnastics and the support of children's and youth sports. She is the President of the Sky Grace International Association, the head of the Charitable Foundation, and the Chairperson of the National Media Group holding company Board of Directors.&nbsp;At the initiative of the Olympic champion, the Alina International Charity Festival, a large-scale project combining sports, creativity, and art,has been held since 2009. Since 2021, the Sky Grace Cup international tournament has been held under unique rules. Competitions have already been held in Moscow, the Sirius Federal Territory, Beijing, and Doha.Alina Maratovna, happy birthday!
