Coach Oksana Prokhorovskaya came to the second stage of the Cup of Strongest with the junior group gymnasts from the Vladimir Region.The specialist told how the gymnasts prepared for the competition at the Academy:<blockquote>"I am very grateful to Alina Kabaeva and to Sky Grace for giving us this opportunity, because it is very valuable to attend a competition this big. The children took this very seriously, we had two training sessions, three to four hours per day. I hope that they will gain experience, look at other strong gymnasts and we will bring something to our region."</blockquote>She also mentioned the teams they look up to:<blockquote>"I really like the Nizhny Novgorod Region team, great productions, artistry, just wow, it's a performance. The Moscow team, the St. Petersburg team,&nbsp; these are the teams we look up to. The Sky Grace team is also a big competitor right now."</blockquote>At the second stage of the Cup of Strongest, the group gymnasts from the Vladimir Region represent the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association in the junior program.

Darya Trubnikova, the two-time Youth Olympics champion, became the guest of the second stage of the Cup of the Strongest.&nbsp;Ahead of the start, she explained why the tournament in Sirius is important for young athletes and highlighted features of the new rules:&nbsp;<blockquote>"Any competition is meaningful and important for gymnasts, for athletes. And the Cup of the Strongest is no exception. At each and every contest, gymnasts must give their best to qualify for the next stages and, in principle, show themselves. In the previous cycle, we focused more on the apparatus and everyone forgot about plasticity and artistry — we were concentrated on working with the apparatus. Now, of course, it's great that everything is being replayed and that artistry and performance play a greater role. And we can finally see the gymnastics that was back in the past: the difficulty of apparatus, the artistry, the plasticity, and the esthetics."</blockquote>Darya also shared her impressions of the progress made by Academy gymnast Mariia Borisova from St. Petersburg:<blockquote>"No doubt, Masha Borisova is the leader and the person that I like most as a gymnast right now. We practiced together in the same hall in Novogorsk before Masha moved to the Sky Grace. The growth is enormous and it continues. With every start, she is growing and adding more. I am rooting for her, supporting her, and wishing the best of luck not merely to her but to all gymnasts."</blockquote>

Ademi Kenzhebekova and Aliyna Kanatbekova from Kyrgyzstan will participate in the second stage of the Cup of the Strongest that is being held from June 16 to 18 in Sirius.Ademi shared her impressions of the competitors and named her favorite gymnasts before the tournament’s start:<blockquote>"There is a lot of competition here, plenty of strong girls. They are all beautiful and strong. I really like Mariia Borisova. She is very artistic, very plastic, and beautiful. I also like Alina Rechkina from Belarus. I think I'll do best with the clubs because it is my favorite apparatus and it comes easiest to me."</blockquote>Aliyna told us in her turn how she improved her routines after participating in the first stage:<blockquote>"I did not have everything worked out at the first stage; certainly, some things needed to be refined. But when we arrived in Bishkek, in Kyrgyzstan, we cleaned up the entire program, changed elements, changed skills and risks. I like the ball more. The most high-rated element is probably the split step to ring."</blockquote>&nbsp;

Academy coach Olga Frolova summed up the results of the control training session dedicated to preparation for the second stage of the Cup of the Strongest:<blockquote>"The control training session was productive, quite extensive. We judge each gymnast in each team, give comments, what to pay attention to, where they fell a little short of points, where they could work on something. So that they all understand it in numbers. Let's hope that they will take all this into account when they perform at the competition."</blockquote>She told whether progress is noticeable and whether the Academy gymnasts are ready for the upcoming tournament:<blockquote>"We see changes. After the first control training session, we worked on the mistakes. And today they have already noticeably improved their programs, listened to the opinion of the judges and made changes according to the feedback. But there is still something to work on, there is still a little time. I think that the girls and the coaches, and all of us, will manage."</blockquote>The second stage of the Cup of the Strongest will be held at Sirius from June 16 to 18.

I also held apparatus training. The training camp was very productive, the children received a huge amount of new and useful information, acquired skills that will help them in their future development. Things like acting, modern dance are not always available for daily training, here we got this opportunity for our children to receive this knowledge. I would like to thank Anna Dyachenko for leading this entire process. I would also like to thank Alina Kabaeva for giving us the opportunity to train in such incredible conditions. This is a rhythmic gymnastics paradise. There is no other gym like this in Russia and I think in the world."</blockquote>The specialist talked about the benefits of the experiment, during which the gymnasts tried on the role of coaches:<blockquote>"We saw the images in which children want to see themselves. This will help the coaches, perhaps, find a new vector, a new direction in which we can develop our girls' programs."</blockquote>The Russian Gymnastics Federation is the organizer of the training camp under the guidance of Anna Dyachenko.
