Zlata Tulubayeva talks about Miroslava Monina’s preparation for the Russian Championship
USSR Master of Sports and Academy coach Zlata Tulubayeva shared how Miroslava Monina from Penza is preparing for the Russian Championship.
“We are working on the program because we will perform under Russian rules. Certainly, they are a bit different from our rules. We are working a lot on the jumps. And on the accuracy of risks that are rated very high under the Russian rules,” Zlata said.
The coach also noted the gymnast’s strong qualities.
“She is dedicated, hardworking. Very responsible, particularly before the starts. She is very focused and all that is manifested in her work, in our preparations for the competition,” she said.
Miroslava Monina will compete in the Russian Championship along with Academy students
Eva Chugunova from Ulyanovsk, Ksenia Savinova and Elvira Belyaeva from Gatchina. The competition will take place in Moscow, February 13-22.
