Based on the results of the Golden Cup in Slovakia, our gymnasts won six gold, eight silver and four bronze medals.In the junior program, Yana Zaikina won four gold medals - in the all-around and in the exercises with a hoop, ball and ribbon. Ksenia Savinova won four silver medals - in the all-around, in the exercise with a hoop, clubs and ribbon. Karolina Tarasova became the champion in the exercise with clubs and the bronze medalist in the all-around and in the exercise with a hoop.In the seniors' program, Alexandra Borisova took second place in the all-around, and also won silver medals in the clubs and ribbon exercises. Anna Vakulenko became the winner of the tournament in the ribbon exercise, second with the ball and third in the all-around and with the hoop. Their coaches are Elizaveta Chernova, Evgeniya Eliseeva, Irina and Alina Gusarova.Our gymnasts do not need a neutral status for participation because this is a club tournament and the girls were invited to perform as athletes of the Sky Grace International Clubs Association.

Yana Batyrshina, the silver medalist of the 1996 Olympic Games, acted as the host of the Evgeniya Cup international tournament in Omsk.She told us about differences in this year's tournament.<blockquote>"I've been with Zhenya since the first tournament, and I see how it's developing. If the first tournament was held at the gymnastics center, now it's already being held at the G-Drive Arena. It's just the level of the World Championships, European Championships, and Olympic Games."</blockquote>She also noted progress of Sky Grace gymnasts and named the strengths of Mariia Borisova from St. Petersburg.<blockquote>"There's been incredible progress in a year. I noted this and told each of them how their skills have grown, how brilliant their programs have become, how the new rules suit them, how they've blossomed. I have been following Masha since that very first tournament, you could say even earlier. It is a great responsibility to come as a leader, as the absolute champion of Russia. Her program is structured, made according to elements and artistry. Of course, in artistry I think she has no equal."</blockquote>

Yana Zaikina from Volgograd became the silver medalist of the Evgeniya Cup international tournament in the ball exercise in the junior program.
