Gymnasts who represented Russia at the AEON Cup — 1999

Alina Kabaeva and Zarina Gizikova competed at the AEON Cup tournament in 1999.

In the same year, the future Olympic champion won four gold and two silver medals at the World Championships in Osaka.

Zarina Gizikova won the Youth World Games a year earlier, and three years later she became the absolute champion of Russia.
