Sky Grace gymnasts win 11 medals at the Winter Fairytale tournament among athletes born in 2012 and 2013
At the international Winter Fairytale tournament in Baku, Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy gymnasts won 11 medals, eight of which were gold.
Among the gymnasts born in 2012, Veronika Solomatina from St. Petersburg became the all-around champion and also won gold in the hoop event. Miroslava Monina from Penza won the silver medal in the all-around and became the winner in the clubs event. Sofia Smirnova from the Moscow Region became the third in the all-around and also won gold medals in the ball and ribbon events.
The athletes prepared for the competition under the guidance of Zlata Tulubaeva, Irina and Alina Gusarova and Alina Protasova. Among the athletes born in 2013, Malika Timurshina from Kazan became the best in the all-around and in the exercises with a hoop and clubs. The gymnast prepared for the start together with coach Evgenyia Eliseeva at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
Veronika Malinina from St. Petersburg, a student of Alina Gusarova, won a silver medal in the all-around among the gymnasts born in 2013.
The international Winter Fairytale tournament takes place in Baku from December 14 to 15.
