Yana Sakovich from Moscow discussed her performances, dealing with anxiety, and important advice from her coaches and Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva at the Step to the Dream tournament in Armenia:<blockquote>"My performance at this competition is much better than at the previous one. There were fewer mistakes and it was more beautiful. After Yekaterinburg, we worked on all the mistakes we made to make sure everything went well at this competition. We worked on getting me to go out calmly and perform beautifully. My coaches help me cope with anxiety. You need to perform for yourself, just perform beautifully. Alina Maratovna says to go out, perform calmly, and maintain concentration throughout. Never relax, from start to finish."</blockquote>The athlete also summed up the results of the year:<blockquote>"This year has seen a lot of positive changes for me. I think it's been quite successful. My performances have become cleaner, and I've found new goals for my performances. The biggest achievement is that I got into the Academy. Thanks to the Academy, my life has changed dramatically. The Academy gives me many opportunities to perform in different countries. Russian national team Head coach Tatyana Sergaeva told how she will remember the Russian Cup 2025 in Kazan and noted the fierce competition among the participants:<blockquote>"You can see the results up on the podium. The start was tough for everyone. Every gymnast fought and struggled. I'd say it was a battle of wills. Senior gymnasts, like Masha Borisova, are hot on her heels. The younger gymnasts are more brazen, but they lack the experience to perform flawlessly. Everyone made mistakes today. Ekaterina Sazonova was probably the most consistent. She was absolutely consistent. She performed four events very calmly, very confidently, without any major mistakes. But the podium showed everything. Thank you, it puts everything in its place. Congratulations to everyone on this."</blockquote>The specialist also shared her plans for the near future:<blockquote>@Keep working. I have a coaching course coming up in Ryazan now. A lot of young coaches are gathering there to attend it. Then I have a group course in Novogorsk, and I'll go there to join them. Then a short break for the New Year, and then it all starts again. Next year is tough, so there's no need for long breaks."</blockquote>The Russian Cup was held in Kazan on December 5 and 6.

Eva Kononova, the silver medalist of the Russian Cup from the Tyumen region, shared her emotions from her performances in Kazan and the details of her preparation:<blockquote>"I have only positive emotions; I'm incredibly happy. It's the end of the season, and it's been quite a good one. We prepared diligently, scoring two clean types every day for each event. And we worked and worked to make sure everything came together.&nbsp; Maybe, of course, not everything worked out, but we'll keep working. I think my hoop routine was my best. The tournament is organized by the Russian Judo Federation and the DobroFON charity program.
