Mariia Borisova and her coach Irina Gusarova summed up the results of the Thiais Grand Prix.&nbsp;The gymnast admitted that she feels her training has improved, and that Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva's advice was a key to her success:<blockquote>"After the Grand Prix in Marbella, we came home, and Irina Nikolaevna and I consulted with the judges and changed the program a little, added some elements and made the program more difficult so that everything would count better. I've now regained the side turn with my hand on the ball. I've also developed a new hoop risk. We also worked on my cleanliness and consistency. I think I actually did better at this competition. I feel like I'm making progress in this area, which I'm incredibly happy about and plan to continue in the same spirit. Alina Maratovna was in touch, and she also helped me get ready. And on the last day before my flight, we had a practice session together; she watched me practice. Her advice helped me focus on everything, one after the other. In my opinion, I probably did best in the event finals of the ball and clubs in the all-around."</blockquote>She was pleasantly surprised by the warm reception from the spectators, the crowd cheered her on from the very first time she took to the carpet:<blockquote>"The spectators were very warm and supportive. From the very first rounds, which was unexpected, but very nice."</blockquote>Irina Nikolaevna also shared her emotions and appreciated Masha's performance at the competition:<blockquote>"The atmosphere was wonderful! They received us well. The crowd likes Masha, that's very nice. There's always a bit of excitement before every competition. It's definitely necessary to be nervous, but in moderation. You need to let yourself go and enjoy your performance. Masha tries hard, works hard, and at this competition she was already more confident. She was more eager to show her best. I'd like to say a huge thank you to Alina Maratovna for her tremendous support and faith. For giving us the opportunity to grow and develop. A huge thank you to our doctors. Ksenia Savinova and Yana Zaikina won medals in individual finals at the Shining Star tournament

For Elizaveta Geraskina, the AGF Trophy International Tournament was her first tournament under the auspices of World Gymnastics. She competed under neutral status and won two medals: silver in the team all-around with Kira Yablochnikova and individual bronze in the clubs event.After the competition, the gymnast and her coach, Elizaveta Chernova, shared why participating in this international competition was valuable to them and thanked everyone who helped them prepare.The athlete shared her emotions and told how she coped with excitement:<blockquote>"There's a really warm atmosphere here, the spectators are supportive and received me very well! After the Russian Junior Championship, we arrived and had only two days to prepare. Elizaveta Markovna and Elizaveta Sergeevna helped me, and Alina Maratovna got me ready before I went on the carpet. This is my first international tournament where I'm competing for AIN2, so it was actually nerve-wracking, but I think I handled it well. I tried to keep my emotions under wraps, control myself, and show everything I can on the carpet. Of course, every competition counts for you, every competition is memorable in its own way, helps in its own way, and with each one you become more and more confident. I want to say a big thank you to Elizaveta Markovna, and also to Elizaveta Sergeevna, for the preparation and support, and to Alina Maratovna for her valuable advice, preparation, and for always being supportive and finding the right words. Thank you so much!"</blockquote>Coach Elizaveta Markovna assessed Lisa's performances and thanked the Academy team for their support:<blockquote>"It was nerve-wracking and a huge responsibility to compete, because we competed first for the team, the juniors and seniors, and then the finals. We made it to the finals and performed well, without any major mistakes. I helped Liza with her nerves, I talked to her, encouraging her to prioritize doing what we'd already prepared in training, to go out there, learn, and gain experience. The level of competition was high. The crowd was very welcoming and supportive. They came up to us for photos after our performances and congratulated us.
