Honored Coach of Russia Irina Chernyshkova explained during the Sky Grace Cup interregional qualification in Ivanovo, why emotions are so important in performances of gymnasts.

“Gymnasts preparing specifically for this competition understood that it is critical to demonstrate exactly the artistry of rhythmic gymnastics during this event, the one showed by Alina Kabaeva at one time.”

The professional also described how gymnasts demonstrate the artistry when performing.

“One can perform a myriad of body elements but do that without soul and such performance will not cause any response from the audience. And there are gymnasts that go to the floor and they just take the first pose, and the entire audience already admires them! This is the artistry exactly!”
