The silver medalist of the first stage of the Cup of the Strongest in the clubs final, Elizaveta Geraskina from Moscow, spoke about the image in this exercise:<blockquote>"I really like clubs. I actually feel them as apparatus. And I think we hit the nail on the head with this exercise, I really enjoy doing it. I called Elizaveta Markovna before each of my performances and after. And she gave me comments and some advice. I want to say a big thank you to Evgeniya Mikhailovna for her help, and to Elizaveta Markovna and Elizaveta Sergeevna for always being in touch with me, even when they're not there. I'm very grateful to them for coaching me and supporting me. I love them very much! I also want to say a big thank you to Alina Maratovna, she always gives very valuable advice and helps me. I also want to say a big thank you to Vera Nikolaevna, she was at this competition and also gave me very valuable advice."</blockquote>Liza also noted that she was glad that Alisa Stamat was back on the competition carpet:<blockquote>"It's always nice to talk to all the girls. Two-time silver medalist of the first stage of the Cup of the Strongest Yana Zaikina from Volgograd shared her emotions from the tournament:<blockquote>"I'm not very happy with this competition; not everything went well. I'll work on that so I can do well at the next competition. We worked on our artistic skills and tried to work more on our elements to get a really high DB."</blockquote>The gymnast also spoke about communication with Belarusian athletes:<blockquote>"We became friends with them in Minsk at the Crystal Rose, and at the last competition in Tashkent, we met Ksyusha and another Ksyusha there. They're very kind, very beautiful, and talented."</blockquote>And she thanked everyone who helped her with the preparation:<blockquote>"I want to say a huge thank you to Evgeniya Mikhailovna for working with us every day and simply always supporting us. Her support really helps me, and it makes my performance easier. Olga Dmitrievna, for working with us every day, giving us feedback, like what didn't count, what did, and helped us perform well and get a high score. And Ekaterina Medorovna, for working with us on the choreography every day, practicing our elements. We worked a lot after the World Cup and will work even more now. And everything turned out quite well here. Did I feel the support? Yes, I felt it. I was incredibly pleased. They were shouting impossibly loud. And I received a lot of toys as gifts. An immeasurable amount, really. Here are some flowers and this toy as well. Of course, everyone was worried, but one girl gave me flowers. After each performance, she came up to me. I am very pleased. I am immensely grateful to Alina Maratovna for such support, for working with me, and for the opportunity to perform here. I also want to thank Evgenia Mikhailovna, Olga Dmitrievna, choreographer Ekaterina Medorovna, and Ekaterina Georgievna. In fact, everyone who helped me, who motivated me, and worked with me."</blockquote>The gymnast told why she was so happy after performing in the final with ribbon and how the new program with clubs was choreographed:<blockquote>"I was very happy that I was able to make my way in all events and to do them all very well and consistently from a clean slate. And that is why I was very happy that it worked out. We worked a lot on the elements. Thanks to Ekaterina Georgievna, who came and helped a lot, and to Ekaterina Medorovna. And we worked on the new clubs that Evgenia Olegovna has composed just recently. We worked hard on them. Alina Maratovna and Evgenia Mikhailovna found some music that is really, really cool; I like it so much. And the next morning, Evgenia Olegovna was already choreographing some interesting pieces for me. The second dance steps are very interesting and difficult. It was arranged so that everything is to the music, with accents and in an engaging way."</blockquote>At the first stage of the Cup of the Strongest, Eva won gold in the all-around, as well as in the hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon finals.

The Academy's junior group gymnasts won two gold medals and a silver medal at the first stage of the Cup of the Strongest in Kazan. They took first place in the all-around and the final with five balls, and second place in the final with five ribbons.The team members are Anna Gryaznova, Alisa Kirpicheva, Alexandra Ponomareva, Vladislava Gaivoronskaya, Elizaveta Malashenko, and Kira Pryn.After the performances, Anna shared her emotions from the tournament and thanked everyone who helped them prepare:<blockquote>"We are very happy that we came to this competition. Of course, there were mistakes, but there were also good performances. We will continue to work so that with each tournament we become bolder and brighter. Most of all, we want to thank our coaches, Daria Olegovna and Anna Pavlovna. For their patience, for sitting with us in the gym every day, and despite everything, they always support us, believe in us, and provide guidance. We also want to say many thanks to Alina Maratovna, who gave us the opportunity to participate in such competition. She also provides us with very important advice. Zlata Tulubaeva, head judge of the Kazan competition, summed up the results of the first stage of the Cup of the Strongest and noted that the gymnasts' progress was clearly visible, especially in the artistic and execution scores:<blockquote>"We had a very productive competition. The results are excellent. After competing at international competitions and several World Cups, the girls and their coaches rehearsed their routines. We can see this for ourselves and even look at the artistic and execution scores. Naturally, they received higher scores. Why? Because they've certainly refined their routines, and they look completely different. All gymnasts need to perform all their elements cleanly. Then they'll receive high scores."</blockquote>The assessed appreciated the performances of the Academy's gymnasts:<blockquote>"I really liked Eva Kononova's new routine with clubs; it was executed so cleanly, charismatically, and artistically. She also received high scores for it. Sasha Borisova really impressed us, taking third place. The group exercises,&nbsp;the girls did a great job. They work really hard. They get better and better with each competition, and we can see it. As for the juniors, Ksyusha Savinova and Yana Zaikina, they did a great job; they handled this competition with dignity and showed the highest results. Elizaveta Geraskina is third in the all-around, based on the overall competition. As far as the award ceremony goes, two gymnasts per country receive medals. Liza did a great job! Her gymnasts Eva Kononova and Ksenia Savinova won 10 gold medals out of 10.The specialist noted the support of the stands during the competition:<blockquote>"A great atmosphere, a really cool crowd. The kids are so supportive of our Sky Grace gymnasts. It's incredible: so many toys, so many posters. They pass me little notes saying how they want to come to my training camp, they give me their phone numbers. It's all so sweet, so valuable. And it really helps the girls and me. This love and support is really motivating, so a huge thank you to these kids who love us so much."</blockquote>She told how international competitions helped to improve the technique of performing expensive elements:<blockquote>"We had some shortcomings at the international level. The judges pointed them out to us. We're working more carefully now because there are important elements, like fouettés, for example. We've taken this into account with the girls, and I see that Eva, for example, has very good results in terms of executing elements that we didn't get at the international level. We've taken this into account and will continue to do better and better."</blockquote>Evgeniya Mikhailovna appreciated the performances of the gymnasts:<blockquote>"I'm happy with Ksyusha because she had a clean run today, just like Eva, a clean run. I really love it when kids can do four events without missing a beat.
