“It’s a great honor to represent the Academy!” Coach Olga Frolova speaking about judge’s work at the Russian Championship
Academy Coach Olga Frolova works at the Russian Championship as a judge and this is her first time to evaluate the performance of seniors.
She told us how the competition goes on.
“Very busy schedule. We judge from morning to evening. It’s a lot of responsibility. We took these competitions seriously and prepared. It is a great honor to represent the Academy. Everything is in working order. Everything is quiet. If there are any discrepancies somewhere, then we have an appeal jury. And the leading judges of Russia are monitoring everything so that everything really happens according to the sporting principle. Everything is fair.”
The professional also assessed the training level of gymnasts.
“Now the seniors in our sport have become a little younger. The year 2010 has already started in for seniors. And, of course, it’s not easy for them to compete with older girls who are already about 20 years old. Also, our Academy gymnasts tried to perform for themselves for the first time as seniors. They are gaining experience. Good job!
Olga Frolova shared her impressions from the Russian Championship on the whole.
“I gained a lot of experience. Of course, colossal. I really liked it. Very strong gymnasts, leading coaches and judges.”
The Russian Championship is being held from February 26 to March 2. Anna Vakulenko from Volgograd, Kristina Voitenko from Novosibirsk, and Karolina Tarasova from Donetsk represent the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy at the tournament.
