The competitions were held at the Rhythmic Gymnastics Palace in Minsk.Alina Kabaeva greeted the fans, talked to the young athletes and coaches.The Olympic champion also presented the Belarusian gymnast Alina Harnasko with a special prize for artistry from the Alina Kabaeva Charitable Foundation. At the II CIS Games, the athlete won a gold medal in the exercise with the ball and became the second in the all-around, losing only to Russia’s Lala Kramarenko.The Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy was represented by 13 athletes at the Crystal Rose tournament. Kristina Voitenko from Novosibirsk won gold in the clubs event among juniors. Ksenia Savinova from Gatchina and Yana Zaikina from Volgograd entered the top five in terms of total points for two exercises among the juniors. Ksenia also won a silver medal in clubs.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Academy coach Olga Frolova summed up the results of the control training session dedicated to preparation for the second stage of the Cup of the Strongest:<blockquote>"The control training session was productive, quite extensive. We judge each gymnast in each team, give comments, what to pay attention to, where they fell a little short of points, where they could work on something. So that they all understand it in numbers. Let's hope that they will take all this into account when they perform at the competition."</blockquote>She told whether progress is noticeable and whether the Academy gymnasts are ready for the upcoming tournament:<blockquote>"We see changes. After the first control training session, we worked on the mistakes. And today they have already noticeably improved their programs, listened to the opinion of the judges and made changes according to the feedback. But there is still something to work on, there is still a little time. I think that the girls and the coaches, and all of us, will manage."</blockquote>The second stage of the Cup of the Strongest will be held at Sirius from June 16 to 18.

After the control training session at the Academy, coach Olga Babanskaya from Nizhny Novgorod noted the importance of the unique classes and conditions at Sirius:<blockquote>"I brought two gymnasts from Nizhny Novgorod. I also held apparatus training. The training camp was very productive, the children received a huge amount of new and useful information, acquired skills that will help them in their future development. Things like acting, modern dance are not always available for daily training, here we got this opportunity for our children to receive this knowledge. I would like to thank Anna Dyachenko for leading this entire process. I would also like to thank Alina Kabaeva for giving us the opportunity to train in such incredible conditions. This is a rhythmic gymnastics paradise. There is no other gym like this in Russia and I think in the world."</blockquote>The specialist talked about the benefits of the experiment, during which the gymnasts tried on the role of coaches:<blockquote>"We saw the images in which children want to see themselves. This will help the coaches, perhaps, find a new vector, a new direction in which we can develop our girls' programs."</blockquote>The Russian Gymnastics Federation is the organizer of the training camp under the guidance of Anna Dyachenko.

Coach Anna Vodopyanova summed up the control training session which was held at the training camp under the guidance of the Russian national team senior coach Anna Dyachenko at the Academy:<blockquote>"The uniqueness of this camp is primarily that the strongest children in their age category are gathered here. Therefore, every time they come to classes, they learn from each other, they take the best from each other, but at the same time they also compete with each other. Over these two weeks, the growth has been simply amazing."</blockquote>The specialist shared her impressions from the performances and told what discoveries this unusual format, when the gymnasts tried themselves as coaches and choreographed exercises for each other, brought:<blockquote>"The control training took place in a very creative format. Tatyana Sergaeva suggested this experiment. Our children were happy to take part in this experiment. It consisted of them being divided into pairs. They did it on their own. One of them was a gymnast, the other one was a coach. And then they switched. They had a limited amount of time to prepare the routine. But everything they did, they did completely on their own. Well, and we saw very, very musical productions, first of all. That is, all the children who gathered here, they hear music very well. Simply amazing. Many were presented in other images, here they could allow themselves anything they wanted, what they liked, and so they were dancing, in a completely different style, more relaxed, more tempo, and it looked really great, and even Anna Dyachenko told many coaches to pay attention to this style and keep this in mind, to use in new programs."</blockquote>The Russian Gymnastics Federation is the training camp organizer.
