The Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy gymnasts won medals in individual events at the Cup of the Strongest final.The hoop routine earned our gymnasts three medals. Yana Zaikina from Volgograd took the title of champion. Second place went to Alesya Naifonova from Vladikavkaz, and third place to Ksenia Savinova from Gatchina.In the ball final, Yana Zaikina became the best. Ksenia Savinova won the silver medal, and Alesya Naifonova took the bronze.Ksenia Savinova and Yana Zaikina took first and second place in the clubs routine. Alesya Naifonova sustained an injury and was unable to continue her performance. Anna Repina from Moscow won the bronze medal.In the ribbon exercise, Ksenia Savinova won, and Yana Zaikina came in second. Anna Repina took third place.Yana and Ksenia are coached by Evgeniya Eliseeva and Olga Minigalina, with Elena Egorova serving as their choreographer. Alesya’s coaches are Alina and Irina Gusarova, with Ekaterina Belova as her choreographer. Yana is a European champion and a silver medalist at the Russian Championships. Ksenia is a Russian champion and a silver medalist at the European Championships. All three gymnasts are members of the Russian National team; they live and train at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

Mariia Borisova from St. Petersburg became the all-around champion in the Cup of the Strongest final.The gymnast prepared for the start under the guidance of coach Irina Gusarova and choreographer Ekaterina Belova.&nbsp;The second place was taken by an athlete from Moscow, Sofia Ilteryakova. The third result was shown by Anastasia Vlasenko, but according to the tournament rules there can be no more than two gymnasts from a country on the podium, so Anna Kamenshchikova from Belarus won the bronze medal.Mariia Borisova from St. Petersburg is a World champion in team all-around, as well as a medalist at the World and European Championships. The gymnast is a member of the Russian National team’s main roster and the Sirius Federal territory team and lives and trains at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

Russian gymnasts successfully performed at the international Wings Cup tournament in Dubai.Among athletes born in 2013, Veronika Malinina from St. Petersburg won gold medals in the all-around, hoop and ball, and also became second in the clubs exercise. Evelina Tandalova from the Tyumen Region won a gold medal in the clubs exercise and became second in the all-around, hoop and ball. The junior group rhythmic gymnastics team from Russia, representing the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy, has won the gold medal in the all-around event at the Cup of the Strongest finals.The team consists of Alexandra Ponomareva, Alisa Kirpicheva, Elvira Belyaeva, Alina Chistyakova, and Darya Khoroshilova. Their coach is Darya Pirogova, and the choreographer is Veronika Shatkova. Viktoria Borodina is their program choreographer.Second place went to a team from the Omsk Region, also part of the Russian National team, while the Belarus team won bronze.&nbsp;The Academy’s group gymnasts are the active champions of the Russian Junior Championships. They represent the Sirius Federal Territory and both live and train at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy. Their coach is Darya Pirogova, and their choreographer is Veronika Shatkova.
