"Sky Grace is a step into the future!" Evgenia Kanaeva talks about the International Clubs Association

Two-time Olympic champion Evgenia Kanaeva appreciated the influence of the International Association of Clubs on the development of rhythmic gymnastics at the international Sky Grace Cup tournament in Qatar.

"It is very pleasant to be at such a great tournament, in such wonderful conditions. And I am very glad that the tournament is gaining such a new scale. This is probably a step into the future, you can say, because I see how Alina's team works, including, of course, Alina, who is trying to bring something new, help children, connect psychologists, nutritionists, invites coaches, conducts training camps. That is, of course, it is, say, such a large scale, a great responsibility. I think that, most likely, the whole Sky Grace team is going the right way, helping children, first of all trying new things, inviting directors, such a great director as Irina Borisovna Zenovka, who worked with me for many years and thanks to her programs we managed to win Olympic gold." 

She also praised the athletes for their work.

"I would like to thank the girls who take risks, who spend a lot of effort, let's say, and nerves, because learning new elements is always difficult."

The Sky Grace Cup was held at the Aspire Dome Arena in Doha from November 20 to 22.
