"We need to move forward every time and not to give up!" Ksenia Savinova talks about the results of the Sky Grace Cup International Tournament and Beijing Top Open 2025

Ksenia Savinova, the holder of five gold medals of the Sky Grace Cup International Tournament and Beijing Top Open 2025 among juniors, told us about specificities of rope handling:

"I really enjoyed performing here. There is such a cozy atmosphere here. It was interesting to put in new elements and perform. I really like performing under the rules of the Sky Grace International Association because everyone has her own advantage that they can show in these rules. We also haven't performed with the rope for a long time. It was unusual to work with it, to throw it, because all the other apparatus are heavier. And the rope was constantly flying forward. But we practiced with Evgenia Eliseeva, and we succeeded."

She shared with us how the preparations for the competition had taken place and also noted the high competition level:

"We had assessment training sessions, where Alina Maratovna was present and advised us how to do everything correctly. She told me to do more amplitude in the jump with legs split and to spin more turns. We are working. And to not let down the fans and coaches, we need to move forward every time and not to give up. The competition here is tough. Many have come from other countries, and each country has something unique. And it's very interesting to watch them. The gymnast topped the list in the all-around and in rope, hoop, clubs, and ribbon exercises Her coach is Evgenia Eliseeva; Elena Egorova is the choreographer.
