Alexandra Borisova became the bronze medalist in the individual all-around among the seniors at the New Look Cup international tournament staged in Tbilisi! Sasha also took third place in the clubs event. Her coach is Irina Gusarova, and her choreographer is Elena Egorova.&nbsp;Maria Avgousti from Cyprus became the champion. Govkhar Ibragimova from Azerbaijan came in second. Milena Bukina, Arina Tkachuk, and Anna Vakulenko (coached by Evgenia Eliseeva and Elena Egorova) took places from the fourth to the sixth one.Among juniors, the best was Sofia Lantsova. Silver and bronze went to Shams Aghahuseynova from Azerbaijan and Milla Shavladze from Georgia. Another one of our athletes, Karolina Pakhtusova, stopped just short of the podium. Her coaches are Alina and Irina Gusarova, and the choreographer is Elena Egorova.At the tournament, athletes from Russia competed under a neutral status.

Following the end of the Sky Grace Cup International Tournament and Beijing Top Open 2025, Academy group exercise gymnasts and their coach Anna Ustsova shared their impressions of the competitions in Beijing.Gymnast Anna Gryaznova told about the sentiment of the team and highlighted importance of support:<blockquote>"We were set to go out beautifully and confidently. Not for victory, but to show the beauty of our exercises. And we went out with joy and confidence. Of course, support is critical, because the parents and the coaches find very important words that are necessary right before the competitions. But in general, I say not to look at our performances, but then to go out and support us. We want to thank our coach Anna Ustsova and Ekaterina Belova for being confident in us despite everything, helping, and training us. Many thanks to Ekaterina Dyukova, who also comes, supports us, and says the right words that help us a lot. And many thanks to Alina Maratovna for this opportunity to represent the Academy at such competitions."</blockquote>And gymnasts’ coach Anna Ustsova shared the secrets of performing for the competitions:<blockquote>"First of all, of course, it is confidence in the team, because all the coaches, all the executives were confident in it. Sofia Ilteryakova, the silver medalist of the Sky Grace Cup International Tournament and Beijing Top Open 2025, spoke about the preparation for the tournament:<blockquote>"The atmosphere here is truly incredible. The hall is amazing! Just like all the halls of the World Championships, this arena is so large and huge. So it was really cool to perform here. We have mainly just added a combination element in all the events. And if it worked out with the apparatus, we could place these decorations somewhere, which give a bonus according to these rules. I liked it. I think it looks very interesting!"</blockquote>The athlete shared her expectations from the forthcoming transition to the senior status:<blockquote>"Actually, I'm not anxious, but I think it will be very interesting. Now we will be changing some programs, say, adding elements, because seniors have more elements, more risks. I think it will be very interesting. I think I need to overcome myself first, because we are moving to the senior program, and then we'll see."</blockquote>Sofia is coached by Natalia Glemba; Ekaterina Sergeeva is the choreographer.

Alina Harnasko of Belarus, the seniors all-around champion of the Sky Grace International Tournament and Beijing Top Open 2025, told what was memorable for her at the competitions in Beijing:<blockquote>"This isn't my first time in China. I've even worked with children in China several times, at master classes and training camps. And now, for the second time, we're returning to the Sky Grace Cup tournament in Beijing. I'm finishing this competitive year beautifully. The season has been very intense and active. And so, this is the final point: the changed rules, another long trip, and a very good competition for me. So, I'm happy! Today, the guys probably decided to play a prank on me during the music section by making me hold my difficult pose for an extra time, but it's great that I pulled it off. I made the hoop a little more challenging for myself also, I held my balance for an indecent amount of time. How I continued, how I pulled myself together, in short, I have so many memories from this tournament!"</blockquote>The gymnast shared with us what love of fans means for her:<blockquote>"I am very pleased. This is what drives me. It's this kind of support, this kind of strength that I draw on. Of course, I give a lot, but I draw from all of this. And it's wonderful to reach this level, where judges, coaches, and great, famous athletes whom I looked up to, to hear their words of support and gratitude for rhythmic gymnastics today. It's very valuable!"</blockquote>Further to the victory in the all-around, the gymnast also won gold in ball and hoop finals. Her coaches are Marina Lobach and Tatiana Ogryzko. The Sky Grace Cup International Tournament and Beijing Top Open 2025 is being held in Beijing from November 12 to 14.The unique rhythmic gymnastics tournament Sky Grace Cup will be held for the fifth time at the initiative of Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva. The competition will be held according to specially developed rules of the Sky Grace International Association. The tournament will feature group exercises for juniors for the first time; in 2024, this event was added to the senior competition program.&nbsp;

Ksenia Savinova, the holder of five gold medals of the Sky Grace Cup International Tournament and Beijing Top Open 2025 among juniors, told us about specificities of rope handling:<blockquote>"I really enjoyed performing here. There is such a cozy atmosphere here. It was interesting to put in new elements and perform. I really like performing under the rules of the Sky Grace International Association because everyone has her own advantage that they can show in these rules. We also haven't performed with the rope for a long time. It was unusual to work with it, to throw it, because all the other apparatus are heavier. And the rope was constantly flying forward. But we practiced with Evgenia Eliseeva, and we succeeded."</blockquote>She shared with us how the preparations for the competition had taken place and also noted the high competition level:<blockquote>"We had assessment training sessions, where Alina Maratovna was present and advised us how to do everything correctly. She told me to do more amplitude in the jump with legs split and to spin more turns. We are working. And to not let down the fans and coaches, we need to move forward every time and not to give up. The competition here is tough. Many have come from other countries, and each country has something unique. And it's very interesting to watch them. Marina Malpica from Mexico is the only gymnast to have competed in all five Sky Grace Cup tournaments.&nbsp;The gymnast shared her favorite things about competing under the Sky Grace International Association rules and how they help athletes reach their full potential.<blockquote>"I really like the Sky Grace International Association tournament rules. This competition is different from the others I participate in. It's interesting because you can try something new. There are elements that I don't use during the year. And then I come here and perform them.&nbsp; I was preparing for these competitions. I think every gymnast has interesting finds. I hope I do too. I hope my ideas will appear interesting to the audience. I really like my programs," Marina said.</blockquote>&nbsp;Marina noted that she met some familiar gymnasts during the tournament.&nbsp;<blockquote>"I know some of the gymnasts who perform here. I have already met them at this tournament, as well as at other international competitions. I am very happy to see them again. I am also so happy to be here. And I am very grateful that I keep being invited to this tournament," the gymnast said.</blockquote>
