Mariia Borisova from St. Petersburg summarizes the performance in Qatar.
"It was like a holiday for me. I’m left with very positive emotions, especially now, towards the end. But there were also moments when I was pensive, focused and was very sad, thought and was analyzing my mistakes. The tournament turned out to be very diverse in terms of emotions."
She thanked fans for enthusiastic support in the stands.
"I am particularly pleased that Alina Kabaeva brought girls from other cities here and they support us from the stands. They are such a team, they show us posters, clap, and shout. And, probably, these are the nicest emotions from the competitions in general, when the spectators support us like that. And they show us hearts after the performance."
The gymnast also told us about advantages of the rules of the Sky Grace International Clubs Association.
"The Sky Grace tournaments are different in that there is a fifth type - the rope, which is incredibly interesting. Something to take every year and work with again. And there are also rules here. There are more elements, which makes the programs more intense."
Maria Borisova became the absolute champion in the all-around and also won four medals in individual finals at the Sky Grace Cup international tournament: gold in rope and ribbon routines, silver in the ball, and bronze in clubs.
