“There are many coaches here to learn from” Coach Olga Malafeeva talks about the Academy training camp

Coach Olga Malafeeva from Ulyanovsk first came to the training camp at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy and shared her impressions of the training.

“The conditions here are very comfortable, especially for training. The kids love it. The space is excellent. The main thing is that there is lots of it, there is enough space for everyone. Other coaches also came here, like Elena Karpushenko, who is someone to gain experience from. There are many coaches here to learn from, and as a young coach, this is what I came here for,” Olga said. 

Olga flew to Sochi with a younger group of athletes who are just starting out in rhythmic gymnastics. 

“Yes, there is progress. I see how their coordination  has been developing, their legs are stretching better. This makes me very happy. They’ve become more flexible. They look at other girls who are older and more experienced, and this motivates them,” the coach said.

The training camps were held at the Academy on July 1-9.
