Russia Honored Coach Marina Govorova discussed the specifics of the 2025 Cup of the Strongest final:

"There was serious competition. And, first, the competition format was very interesting. It was the Cup of the Strongest, and the strongest were competing. These were gymnasts who had been selected over three stages. There weren't many of them, and they perfromed next to each other, competing. That was very interesting. This year, our gymnasts are competing under international rules. They're different from the rules they competed under before."

She also noted the progress of the Academy gymnasts:

"Ksyusha Savinova has proven herself not only in these competitions, but also in her own right. She recently competed in Japan, won the juniors' program, and is in excellent shape. She's been improving all year, and now she's in peak form, in my opinion. These have been two fantastic starts for her. Well done! The group gymnasts team is an interesting, young team. They've performed brilliantly this season. It's a challenging, interesting program. The girls worked hard and made it more challenging. Our team leader is Masha Borisova. She has brilliant compositions. She also had a wonderful tournament in Japan. And now, with these impressions, Masha has returned here and continued to delight us with her wonderful performances."
