Head coach of the Belarusian national team Irina Leparskaya shared her impressions of the international competition in Barnaul.
"We’re here for the second time. We like everything here. Especially the organization in terms of sincerity and warmth. Few people can conduct things the way these people do. Therefore, we are simply obliged to support competitions like this," Irina said.
Irina also shared what she thought of the gymnast’s performance.
"The Sky Grace is the jewel of this competition. We’ve watched new talents. They are all impressive, all beautiful, and all have abilities. But there are also many locals. I already discussed it with local coaches yesterday. They have a good future. Good kids. We are happy to help them," the coach said.
The head coach of the Belarusian national team also spoke about the upcoming competitions in Minsk.
"We are already looking forward to seeing you all, but Sky Grace is already a sign of quality at competitions. We have already been to Sochi and Beijing. I understand that the organization will be at a very high level, and we, as those who provide our athletic facility, will try to ensure that this is truly at a high level," Irina said.
Irina Leparskaya also noted the contribution of the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association to the development of rhythmic gymnastics.
"This is somewhere in between the Russian rules and international ones. And this golden middle ground should really keep us all within a good realm of rhythmic gymnastics development. Because strong rolls to the right and left interfere with rhythmic gymnastics. I am for Sky Grace to maintain this golden middle ground. There are still a lot of things they need to think about, of course. We try to help them with all this, but it seems to me that the future belongs to it," she said.
