"In these three days, a lot of names will be discovered here!" Irina Leparskaya about Crystal Rose

The head coach of the Belarusian rhythmic gymnastics team, Irina Leparskaya, explained why the combination of two tournaments, the CIS Games and the Crystal Rose is a huge bonus.

"The strongest from each country come to the Games. The children who come to the Crystal Rose look at their idols, they are next to them on the same floor, take pictures with them, get their autographs. And I don't think it can get any better than this," Irina said.

In addition, she noted that many interesting athletes compete at the tournament, among which there is a noticeable rivalry.

"It seems to me that in these three days a lot of names will be made here, because there have not been competitions like this for a long time. We are very glad that as many as 14 countries responded, they came here. And while communicating with them, I see that they are happy that it was possible for them to get here. I want them to perform well, the children to please them, the judges to enjoy their objective refereeing. So that everyone does a good job, but I also want them to take a break and see our beautiful Minsk," the coach said.

And after the current competitions, the Belarusian national team gymnasts will be preparing to perform at the Sky Grace 2023 tournament, which will be held in Shanghai.

"Now all attention is paid to this event. For Belarus, this is a grandiose event in the sports world, and not only in the sports world. The whole country was getting ready. Therefore, we will perform here, we will deal with everything here, and I hope that everything will go fine, beautifully - and we will immediately begin preparing for Sky Grace," she added.

The International Crystal Rose tournament and the II CIS Games are held in Minsk on August 4-6.
