Yana Zaikina speaks about the new programs at the Gracia Fair Cup international tournament

At the international Gracia Fair Cup tournament, Yana Zaikina talked about her new programs:

"In the hoop, at first I'm a robot, and then there's a part from the Harry Potter movie. The ball, I'm a witch doctor, I have to show off these daring moves and rock the crowd. The clubs, everything's nice and cheerful. In the ribbon, I'm a bird, everything's airy and precise."

Natalia Belugina supplied the hoop, Irina Zenovka supplied the ball and ribbon, and Evgeniya Kanaeva supplied the clubs. The athlete thanked everyone who helped her choreograph and perfect her routines:

"Thank you so much for such choreography to Evgeniya Olegovna, Natalia Vladimirovna, and Irina Borisovna. And to everyone, everyone, everyone who helped me perfect them. To Evgeniya Mikhailovna and Olga Dmitrievna for preparing us for this competition. And to Lyudmila Alexandrovna for working with us every day on the choreography. Of course, a huge thank you to Alina Ivanovna for leading us here and preparing us. And to all the doctors who also helped us. A huge thank you to Alina Maratovna for giving us the opportunity to come to this international tournament so we could prove ourselves and become stronger and better."

In Hungary, Yana won silver in the all-around in the junior women's program. She is coached by Evgeniya Eliseeva and choreographed by Lyudmila Duganova. 

Gracia Fair Cup was held under the auspices of World Gymnastics. Our athletes competed under neutral status.
