Yana Zaikina and Ksenia Savinova talk about their performances at the Star Ripple Cup International Grand Prix

At the Star Ripple Cup International Grand Prix in Dalian, Yana Zaikina and Ksenia Savinova won nine medals in the juniorы program.

Yana came in second in the ribbon, hoop and clubs routines and third in the all-around, while Ksyusha won the routines without an apparatus and with a ball, second in the all-around, and third in the hoop and ribbon routines. Their coaches are Elizaveta Chernova, Evgeniya Eliseeva and Olga Minigalina. The choreographer is Elena Egorova.

Ksenia Savinova asesses her performances at the tournament in Dalian and shared her future plans for working on exercises:

"We did a lot, but there's still work to be done. Next we're going to Novogorsk, we'll work on our mistakes. Our coaches Evgeniya Eliseeva and Olga Minigalina helped us. Alina Kabaeva supported us."

Yana Zaikina also told how the competitions in China turned out for her, and also thanked the Academy team for their help in preparing for the start:

"We really liked the tournament. It's very cozy here, and we rate our performances quite well. The competition here was high, because the girls came from the Russian team and we also competed with them. Many thanks to Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy for helping and training us. Many thanks to Alina Kabaeva for believing in us and sending us to China, to Dalian."

The Star Ripple Cup International Grand Prix was held in Dalian from August 7 to August 10.
