"I took advantage of Alina Kabaeva’s advice." Natalya Usova speaking about preparations for the Games of Countries

Gymnast from Uzbekistan Natalya Usova arrived at the Academy to take part in the Games of Countries international tournaments under the rules of the Sky Grace International Association.

Pieces of advice from Alina Kabaeva helped the gymnast in particular to prepare for the competition. She explained to the gymnast in August when visiting Tashkent how to work with the jump rope properly.

Natalya told this story as early as in Sochi:

"I took advantage of Alina Kabaeva’s advice. She showed me a large number of skills and I incorporated some of them into my exercises.  We worked on all this for quite a long time and I did not expect that the jump rope would come back to my hands again. I’ve forgotten it for a while, and it was nice to remember this feeling again."

The athlete also shared impressions from the return to the Academy where she had already performed with the jump rope at the Sky Grace 2022 tournament.

"It’s magical here at the Academy. I want to say that the staff here is very nice. Everyone walks around, smiles, everyone says hello. It is so nice and unexpected. Everything is at the highest level, I really like it here."

The Games of Countries international tournament is being held at the Academy from October 19 to 22.
