"I saw a completely different kind of gymnastics!" Young athlete Anastasia Li on her participation in the Grand Prix Alem

Young gymnast Anastasia Li shared her impressions of the Grand Prix Alem competition and assessed the level of her competitors:

"I feel proud to have had the opportunity to compete at a tournament of this scale because I can see my level and learn from others. I'm also really happy that the girls from Sky Grace came because they're at a completely different level, and for me it's been an experience competing against the best."

The gymnast also shared who helps her cope with her nerves:

"There are special rituals, but they're usually kept secret, sort of a secret. But usually, it's support from family and friends. The coach also helps with words."

The athlete noted that she enjoys vaulting elements the most:

"Actually, all the jumping elements are my favorites. I broke the record in my country—twenty jetés with a bend. But I've seen that girls in Russia do much more, and I want to try to reach their level."

Anastasia named Lala Kramarenko as her favorite gymnast:

"Lala Kramarenko has become my favorite gymnast. For me, she's the epitome of beauty, because her technique and overall execution, it just gives you goosebumps when you watch her."
