"I’m happy that I received this opportunity" Viktoria Bespalova talks about participation in the BRICS Games

Viktoria Bespalova from Ulyanovsk is one of the gymnasts from the team of the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association which will perform at the BRICS Games in Kazan.

She spoke about the chance that the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association gave her.

"I’m happy that I have this opportunity to compete at a tournament like this. Thank you very much to Alina Kabaeva for this opportunity to be a part of this team. It is very important to me. I have been doing gymnastics since I was three years old. This is my life. And I would really like to show the work of my coaches, to make the coaches happy, make myself, family and friends happy, so that everything works out. I would really like to compete for a spot on the podium as part of the team," she said.

The gymnast also shared what she will be working on in preparation for the competition.

"I’m going to pay attention to presentation, emotions, quality of execution, work more on elements, on risks," she said.

Viktoria won two bronze medals in exercises with a ball and clubs at the international Sky Grace Grand Prix tournament in Minsk.
