"I am very happy to perform at a tournament like this as part of the International Sky Grace Association!" Asel Arapova talks about the competition in Italy

Asel Arapova from Kyrgyzstan, an International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association team gymnast at the VIII International Rhythmic Gymnastics  Club Tournament A.S.D. V.E.R.A., shared what it means to her to perform at these competitions and assessed her performances.

"Preparation was diligent. We trained a lot, trained painstakingly. And I had the hoop and we changed two types and made them more difficult.  The tournament is very nice, kind, and good. The people are very good here. The audience is really supportive! I’ve got my fighting spirit! I performed alright, but it could have been better. This was my first start of the season, we will keep working! We get along well with the girls, support and help each other because we are the team," Asel said.

She also thanked Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva for the opportunity.

" I am very happy to perform at a tournament like that for the Sky Grace International Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association! Thanks so much to Alina Maratovna," the gymnast said.

At the tournament in Morbegno, Asel Arapova won gold in the clubs event and two bronze medals in the hoop and ball events in the junior program.
