“All the girls have taken a huge step forward!” Academy coach Zlata Tulubayeva talks about preparation for Minks competition

USSR Master of Sports and Academy coach Zlata Tulubayeva spoke about our student’s preparation process for the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association tournament in Minsk.

“At this point, we are preparing for competitions in Minsk according to the Sky Grace rules. We are now reworking the program a little, since the last competition was in Barnaul, where the girls competed under the FIG program,” the coach said.

The coach also talked about changes in programs after the competition in Barnaul.

“It is just that according to the FIG rules, we can do seven elements in total, but four risks. And according to the Sky Grace rules, we do eight elements, three risks. This is what we are working on at the moment. We changed the work, since according to the Sky Grace rules the combined elements still work,” she explained. 

The coach also noted the progress of our gymnasts.

“All of the girls have taken a huge step forward, they have improved quite noticeably in the program, with the objects, in speed, and in technique,” she said.
