Academy student Karolina Tarasova shared her impressions after the Barnaul competition

After the completion of international competitions as part of the "Dynamo for Russia’s Children" festival, Academy student Karolina Tarasova from Donetsk spoke about her road to the long-awaited gold medal.
"Every day we did two clean runs with each type. We did general physical training, jumping, jumping in a circle - jeté. There were intense, difficult training sessions, but we got through it. And now we will get ready for Minsk. I like working with Evgenia Eliseeva. She's so energetic and driven and I love that. She told me to do everything clearly, boldly, hit all sorts of accents and play up all the risks," Karolina said.
The gymnast assessed her performances at the tournament.
"The clubs could have been a little better, but in general I could have done these types better. I just lost it on some little things, but I did the clubs well. I have new elements there - this is fouetté. I've never spun them before. They just choreographed them for me. I’ve been studying them with Ekaterina Belova, the choreographer. I will learn little by little and become much better. Thank you very much to Alina Kabaeva!"
Academy student Karolina Tarasova from Donetsk took first place in the all-around among juniors born in 2010 at a tournament in Barnaul.
