Alexandra Kiryushina shared her emotions from the Russia-China Games:
"I was really looking forward to this tournament; I really wanted to visit Kaliningrad and see this city. I really wanted to compete specifically at the Russia-China Games. I was curious about what it is like at such competitions when two countries compete against each other. I really liked it here. There was excitement; it is always like that. But one must be able to concentrate on the apparatus, calm oneself, and step onto the mat only with joy, giving people emotions. The support here is very good; everyone is so friendly, kind, and vibrant. They cheer a lot."
The gymnast told what gifts she had prepared for gymnasts from China:
"We did not manage to communicate a lot. We want to talk to them at the award ceremony today, to give them gifts; I have magnets from the Ulyanovsk Region. I will give them magnets, matryoshka dolls, and we want to talk to them."
Alexandra won gold in the team competition along with Sofia Dubrovina, Elizaveta Grechishnikova, Alesya Naifonova, and the Russian junior national team, as well as silver in the all-around among juniors in Kaliningrad.
