Ulyana Janus summarizes the results of the third stage of the Cup of the Strongest and shares her emotions from reaching the first podium position at the stage

Ulyana Janus, the silver medalist in the all‑around competition at the third stage of the Cup of the Strongest, summed up the tournament results and shared her emotions about her first podium finish at the stage:

"When I came here, of course, I didn’t set a specific placement as a goal. I simply came with routines I had already perfected and wanted to perform well, since we had prepared very diligently for the competition. I’m happy with how things turned out and that I made it onto the podium. I am incredibly grateful to my coaches for working with me and helping me achieve this result. Of course, there were some shortcomings, but there’s always room for improvement, and I’ll work on fixing them."

The gymnast also said that she supported Russian athletes at the World Championships held in August:

"I was rooting for our girls. I’m so happy things worked out for them and that they managed to win a medal — actually, more than one."
