During the trip to St. Petersburg, participants of the Christmas camp shared their impressions of training in Valdai.
Academy coach Ekaterina Lots told in detail how the training takes place.
"Very interesting training camp. We have training, and also many entertainment events for children. During training we are now reworking the programs according to the new FIG rules, as well as the Sky Grace rules. We’re redoing the entire routine, these are dance tracks, elements,” Ekaterina said.
Our student Yana Zaikina noted that at these training camps the gymnasts mainly get into shape after a short break.
"The training camp is going very well, intensively. We do assignments, general physical training to strengthen muscles. After our short break, we are now recovering and getting into shape," Yana said.
And gymnast Lia Rodionova said that at the training camp she wants to learn how to perform reverse helicopters, which have a high value in the rules.
The training camp, which was organized by the founders of the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy will run until January 16.
