Participant of the Spring Cup Elizaveta Ivoylova from Novokuznetsk talks about preparing for the competition

At the all-Russian Spring Cup competitions which took place from May 10 to 22 in Krasnoyarsk, Elizaveta Ivoylova from Novokuznetsk became the all-around champion among gymnasts born in 2012.

After the tournament, the athlete shared her impressions, and also spoke about preparation for the competition and her future plans.

"Very cool competitions. I like them very much. This is the second year I've been there and the second time I've won medals. I was ready since the Cup of the Strongest. We didn't change anything there. We just worked on the artistry, looked at the programs, cleaned them up. We did a new hoop. It was very old, I performed with it, and because of that I didn't make it to the finals. It wasn't suitable as far as artistry. I'll work on a new hoop for the second stage of the Cup of the Strongest,” Elizaveta said.

The gymnast highlighted the programs of other participants that she remembered.

“I really liked Vladislava Nikolaenko, especially with the clubs, and Karina Kireeva with the clubs. And Masha Borisova did well with the ribbon, too,” she said.

Recently, Elizaveta performed at the first stage of the international The Cup of the Strongest tournament as part of the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy team.
