"She really wants to work!" Olga Frolova talks about Jimena Dominguez's training at the Academy training camp

Olga Frolova talked about the progress of Jimena Dominguez from Venezuela and shared the details of her new exercises.

Venezuelan gymnast Jimena Dominguez is working on new programs according to the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association rules together with coach Olga Frolova at the Academy training camp.

The coach also spoke about working on the program with the ribbon.

"We have completed the clean portions of the ribbon exercise today. And we also did a clean run-through. It is challenging because we made the program more difficult. We have challenging risks, difficult elements, and many decorations in the program," Olga said.

She noted Jimena's diligence.

"We also added dance tracks, multi-level, interesting ones. Now we are putting all this together.  It always takes some time for a gymnast to get used to new elements. But Jimena really wants to work in during the training process," Olga said.

The coach also shared details of the program with the ball.

"The program with the ball is interesting and very artistic. We have the tango music, we have very interesting dance steps with decorations inserted. Everything is going well," the coach said.

The Academy coach emphasized that they will choreograph a jump rope program for Jimena from scratch.

"We have the ribbon, the hoop, and the jump rope; we are now polishing the jump rope. She will have a new jump rope performance, absolutely from scratch; we choreographed the exercise for her. She is working with it," Olga said.

All of the  accommodations for the gymnast have been paid for by the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
