Coaches Olga Minigalina and Alina Gusarova summed up the results of the Brilliant Cup 2025 tournament in Shanghai

The Academy's coaches summed up the results of the Brilliant Cup 2025 tournament in Shanghai.

Olga Minigalina told how the competition went and what else needs to be done before the next ones:

"For our gymnasts, this was the first start in the new season after the recovery camp; we prepared for it after the summer holidays. Of course, there is always something to work on, to improve our programs, so we will do that in preparation for the next tournaments." 

Alina Gusarova noted the competition and stressed the importance of participating in such tournaments:

"We are very glad that we were able to come here. We would like to thank the Shanghai team for inviting us here. Thank them very much. The competition is very good, but we always compete with ourselves. It's important for us that we look good, that we perform well. For us, every competition is a very important competition. That's why we prepare, endeavor, labor, and work."

The coaches and gymnasts also thanked Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva for the opportunity to participate in this competition.

The Brilliant Cup 2025 competition was held in Shanghai from 24 to 27 July.
