Coach Yana Isakova and Lipetsk gymnasts sum up the results of the Academy training camp

The training camp for the Lipetsk gymnasts wrapped up at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

Coach Yana Isakova summed up the results of the classes.

“We tried not to waste a single minute, to be in the hall all the time, to work hard. Because, I repeat once again, the conditions that have been made here are, unfortunately, very rarely found anywhere in our country. Sports are the kind of work that needs to be constantly stimulated with something, especially for children. They cannot be forced. They must want to participate. In order for them to want to continue working,  training camps like this are necessary. So that children have the mood, the desire, the aspiration,” the coach said.  

The Lipetsk gymnasts, in turn, told what they learned during training at the Academy. Avelina Moiseeva and Sofia Polukhina liked the choreography classes the most. 

“I learned choreography and tuning muscles. During the run throughs, the coach explained to me when to flex more,” Avelina said. 

“ I learned choreography. My coach told me to close my positions every time. I closed them every time and it worked,” Sofia said. 

And Ekaterina Melikhova thanked Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva.

The training camp for gymnasts from Lipetsk was held at the Academy, October 25 to 30.
