Coach Olga Stepanova appreciated the innovations in the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association
The sports community supported the initiative by the Olympic champion and President of the International Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Association Alina Kabaeva to introduce leotards without rhinestones at competitions for children under the age of 10.
The world and European champion in group exercises, coach Olga Stepanova, during the interregional competitions that took place in Sirius, highly appreciated the advantages of tournaments according to the Sky Grace rules.
"I’m very happy now that we were invited here. We are performing with my gymnast from the Astrakhan Region. We are very happy to be here and I am fond of the rules present in the Sky Grace. It is possible to show skills of handling the object; it is possible to demonstrate the body control here. Artistry and technique of performance have very good ratings here. The number of elements is balanced here and we can perform risks rated very high," Olga said.
She highlighted the importance of innovations in the rules.
"And I also like very much that there is a desire to introduce single-tone, less expensive leotards for little gymnasts, because I have a daughter that is going in for rhythmic gymnastics, and I as the mother am not absolutely ready to buy diamante leotards. Certainly, this is great news for me. One more very good and unusual thing in Sky Grace tournaments is that there is no admission fee. We are coming, performing, and children in any case spend money for traveling, for the same leotards, but they perform absolutely for free on another hand," she added.
