Coach Olga Stepanova and gymnast Sofia Balayan from Armenia share their impressions of the tournament for Sky Grace partners
Coach Olga Stepanova told how the rules of the Sky Grace International Clubs Association are unique.
"There are unique elements that bear the names of the greatest gymnasts, such as Alina Kabaeva, Yana Batyrshina, Irina Chashchina. Russia is such a huge country that you could always find a lot of unique gymnasts here. When Russia represented itself internationally, it was always the top gymnasts. Most recently, an international tournament was held in Qatar. It was just something extraordinary."
Her athlete Sofia Balayan from Armenia appreciated her debut performance at the tournament for partners of the Sky Grace International Clubs Association.
"The first part turned out very well, the turn to capture. At risk, the knot was untied, it was necessary to tie it more tightly. And the loss was at risk. I've known the skipping rope for two weeks, and the preparation was very exciting. As the choreographer said, "The rope is the mother of all apparatus."
Competitions for partners of the Sky Grace International Clubs Association are held in Sirius from November 28 to December 1. Sofia Balayan from Armenia performs out of the competition.
