Coach Natalia Ivanova talks about artistic gymnastics classes at the Christmas training camp in Valdai
Natalia Ivanova, coach of the M. Voronin Dynamo Moscow gymnastics club spoke about the training schedule during the Christmas training camp in Valdai
"We came to a recovery training camp. Physical education, basic exercises. Improve health: forest, pine trees, breathe fresh air, go to the pool and, of course, engage in our favorite sport," Natalia said.
She noted that the athletes are training in good conditions.
"Very good conditions, rooms. Children live in double rooms, excellent food. All the best for children. So that they could work in a good environment, show their rehabilitation programs and prepare for the season. The hall is amazing, I would really like it to be a base for the best kids, perhaps from all over Russia, and not only from our club," she said.
The coach also explained the benefits of joint training between athletes from rhythmic and artistic gymnastics.
"The girls will get to know each other later, become friends, we, the coaches, will take some exercises. This is a good experience," she said.
The Christmas training camp was organized by the founders of Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy. It will last until January 16.
