Coach Milena Klimova sums up the performance of the group exercises from the Sverdlovsk region at the interregional Sky Grace Cup tournament

The group exercises team from the #1 Artistic and Aesthetic Gymnastics Center won gold in the Masters of Sports program in the Ural Federal District. 

Coach Milena Klimova from the Sverdlovsk region explained what significance rituals have for her team. 

"We have come for the first time to the competition under the Sky Grace rules. The atmosphere in the hall is very nice and cozy. It is easy to perform and the children feel comfortable. Coming to this Academy is already a major achievement. It is interesting for the children to get a new experience, to try themselves under different rules in rhythmic gymnastics. We got pleasure from it.  They have their ritual and they perform it every time. I was a team member myself. I know how important it is, how much self-confidence is attributed to it. Their Medalka is in its leotard. I have never had anything against it and do not even engage them in these moments," she said.

 She also shared her plans for preparing for the next stage of the competition.

"We will analyze the competition in full, talk to judges that came to support us, revise our programs a little and will work stubbornly and prepare for the finals," she said.
