Academy coach Irina Dzyuba summarized the second round of selection of preschoolers for the Academy

Based on the results of the second stage of selection, 47 preschoolers entered additional education groups at the Alina Kabaeva Sky Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
Irina Dzyuba, the bronze medalist of the 1996 Olympics and the Academy coach, announced additional selection days for girls.
"There were some girls who were supposed to be in the second round, but they didn’t come. We assume that perhaps someone could have gotten sick — the kids are small. That is why yesterday, the Academy administration made the decision that until the end of September, every Wednesday from six to seven, we will have either new applicants — we will see more children — or those who did not make it in time. They will have the opportunity to come again."
The specialist also described how the Academy is preparing for the start of classes:
"Five or six people in a group, that is, an individual approach. This is the essence of this large-scale project — to still maintain a more individual approach. We are now setting up a schedule, calling parents and coordinating — to work out what’s convenient."
Preschool classes in additional education groups with a focus on rhythmic gymnastics and English will start on Monday, September 18.
