Before flying to Baku for the international Winter Fairytale tournament, a control training session was held at the Academy.&nbsp; Yana Zaikina from Volgograd presented updated programs at it.Afterwards, her coach Elizaveta Chernova spoke about working on the exercises.<blockquote>"The programs were changed; with clubs, and the program for the ribbon was staged anew. Two-time Olympic champion Evgenyia Kanaeva visited us; she composed a new riɓbon exercise for us. And Irina Zenovka put together the one with clubs for us. First off, we changed the style. We emphasized Yana in that she is very light and airy. The program turned out to be remarkable. Certainly, there is plenty of work to do, a lot of new interesting new skills, and we have new risks. Therefore, we certainly have the work to do," she said.</blockquote>The international Winter Fairytale tournament will be held in Baku on December 14 and 15.

The Academy gymnasts returned to Sirius after performing at the St.Petersburg Championship.The champion in the all-around competition, Masha Borisova, shared what it was like to participate in the tournament in her hometown.<blockquote>"They really did greet me very warmly. There was support in the stands, and after the performances little girls came up to me, took autographs, said nice words. This certainly supported me, even when I went out on the clubs, I got goosebumps from such support, from the fact that they were shouting and clapping," Mariia said.</blockquote>The athlete also shared details of the cultural program that took place after the tournament.<blockquote>"Alina Kabaeva invited us to see Swan Lake at the Mariinsky Theater. We were very, very pleased, even so reverently. We also really liked the performance itself. Beautiful ballerinas. It was very impressive. In fact, it was my first time at the Mariinsky Theatre, and I really liked it," she said.</blockquote>

We watched a lot on TV, but these are completely different emotions.
